1938 Sheaffer Crest FP/MP Set in original lizard skin case
This is the first year model of the Sheaffer Crest with the threads at the front of the section
It is a lever fill and fully restored and ready to write...
The pen and pencil caps are tastefully engraved and the date of engraving gives provenance to the pen age of 1938
The pen cap is in wonderful condition and the pencil has 1-2 dings that could be removed by Daniel Kirchheimer if you wish.
This is a stunning example of the early brown striped Sheaffer material....
My asking price on this set is $130 including US Shipping

someone ought to buy a few of these, they are all harder to find pens, and the prices are very inviting, especially the crest, and I got to say, the rage red is no slouch either....

I'm surprised that you got any of these left. There are a few really terrific pens here, at really good prices. Wish I had extra scratch....
SquelchB
Funny, one online store here in the Czech Republic has the converter listed for something below 10 USD.

Bump, by the way.

I'm quite surprised these are still around, fair prices and some nice pens - I am tapped out but maybe need to dig around some to figure out a way to tempt Tom into a trade for that grain d'orge, which is just gorgeous!
