I wanted to share some photos of a new member in my small collection of Indian Ebonite pens . This pen is not an ED filler as usually is the case with Indian pens. This is a C/C filler and can accomodate large size as well as small size International cartridges. The pen's cap and barrel is made of black Ebonite with hand applied brushed finish. The section is made of Black plastic and the cap is push type rather than screw type. The finned feeder is also made of plastic. The pen has a functioning inner cap that also serves to grip the section when the cap is closed.

The pen length capped is 6 inches and the Barrel diameter is 1/2 inch.

The pen closed:

The pen opened, fitted with an empty Pelikan GTP5 cart:

Nib close-up:

The nib is the two-tone version of the nib fitted on the Advocate pens and comes with a smooth medium tip.

Hope you enjoyed the photos, comments are welcome.

Cheers,

Looks nice, the finish reminds me of the Lamy 2000 material.

However, the quality of the nib and the section seems to be a bit lower, with bad/uneven plating on the nib and section trim.

Hari,

How can someone who does not live in India obtain one of these beauties, and how much would it cost?

Nice Pen and pictures............I am sure it can easily be used as an ED.

Donnie if you are interested, drop me a PM and let me see if I can get one across to you.

That was my idea too, I am not really a fan of the C/C system. I purchased the pen primarily because of its finish and lack of any trim on the exterior. I wish they made the section from Ebonite too. The section looks like a bought out item to me.

Hari
