I found this one a parker and a piece of a sheaffer in a local junk shop. For $2.00 I didn't figure I'd go wrong. Anyone know what it is?

Looks sort of like the Parker 45 precursor that Eversharp made before it was bought by Parker in 1957. Is it a cartridge filler? That would be one clue.


Whatever it is, for $2, it looks like a great pen.

That's an Eversharp Challenger. It's basically a Parker 45 -- or maybe we should say that the Parker 45 is basically an Eversharp Challenger. I think the original price was $2.98. I found mine in a junk shop, too.

Yep its a cartridge filler still has xfine 2.98 on the side of the barrell.
