I notice that the Decimo has been released officially by Pilot in Europe, Asia and Australia. Any idea when it will be released in North America?

That would be nice if it happened. last I heard (from a dealer) there was no such intention but that was some time ago. Maybe Pilot will change their mind if the Decimo does well in the UK? Would sure be nice to feel like I could actually try one before buying it. I'm afraid I may be too accustomed to the standard VP size by now.

The Decimo is a wonderful pen. I ordered mine from the Ujuku Shop - Japan. I'm afraid for as long as the world economy is the way it is, from what I have heard Pilot will not be importing this pen to the USA. But if you got to have one try a couple of the Asian websites such as Ujuku and Pensgallery. I have bought from both and have not been unhappy.
If you are already a VP user, you will not be sorry. I find the smaller barrel and it's light weight to be a dream come true. Looks just like the current models only a bit smaller.
Good Luck.

I second Penhound. The Decimo is great. I've been a long time user of a VP Carbonesque and switching to the Decimo was easy and in my hands, felt better than the standard VP.

If you go to Pilot's website and email them the question they usually respond in 24 hrs or less. It is definitely worth inquiring.
