Hi, I have some pens that I've accumulated and know nothing about them other than their brand. Can you help?

1. is a Parker Vacumatic (with scratches on plastic under nib) made in USA
2. is a Pilot Custom 74, made in Japan
3. is a Parker (made in England) with a similar fill system to Parker 51 (bladder surrounded by stainless steel that you squeeze to fill)
4. is a Parker Slim fold made in England (not as blue as it looks in the pic)
5. is a Conway Stewart Executive 80, made in England
6. is a Mont Blanc 220
7. is a Schaeffer snorkel (I think) made in Australia

From the pics, it seems the Pilot Custom 74 has a two-tined music nib.

Your Conway Stewart is a CS60 exec, a CS80 is a rolled gold pen. If you would consider selling it i'd be interested if so pm me please thumbup.gif

I can only comment on the Parkers, so here it goes....
The first one is a vacumatic junior, made in between 1940 to 1948, it should have a date code beside the made in USA imprint. Thats a single digit, surrounded by zero to three dots, the digit denotes the year it is made.

the second parker looks like a '50's aerometric English Duofold.(I am not sure about it).

Third Parker is a Slimfold, it should have a #5 nib, A offspring of parker Duofold line, a small ladies pen, made in early to mid '60's.
for more info about the Parkers you can refer www.parkerpens.net

Hope this helps.

I think you're right. But what does a "Two-tined music nib" mean?

A music nib is a kind of nib, which usually looks like this :

You can easily see the difference with a 'classic nib' smile.gif

Thankyou. But the reason I'm asking for information is that I intend to move these on to help pay and make room for new acquisitions.
