/sigh/ speaking of washed out, my scanner didn't like this one so much, and some of the lighter bits didn't turn up, but the general colour is true (on my monitor, of course).

Thanks for the review. I've never seen a gray ink before. It's something I could see using on a beautiful rainy day in Paris.

P.S. I like watercolory inks in my ink wardrobe along with more saturated inks. I find them more expressive than saturated inks, and are more often identified as coming from a fp.

Looks kind of pretty, but looks reaaally washed out over here.

I too had a very hard time getting an accurate scan of my Sheaffer Gray ink when I did my review. It must have something to do with this color, scans just come out like these inks are really washed out.... <_<

I wonder how it actually compares to Diamine Grey. From how it looks on my screen, I'd say pretty similar, but then of course how something looks on a screen can be very deceptive.

Diamine Grey (left) is much darker than Herbin Gris Nuage. Both are "cool" greys.

Thanks for the review!
I'm a fan of grey inks though I prefer to Dark Greys. I usually have to mix PR Grey Flannel with black to get it to my liking.
Also I really like your handwriting, it's so neat!

Hmm, I used to think, " Why not just use a pencil?" when I saw gray ink advertised or discussed. Now I can see some uses for gray ink, mostly in personal correspondence and journaling / diary writing, but not by me yet .
