So, I've been nice and quite for a time. Alas, nothing good lasts forever and here I am again with my uncial script.

The text is my own this time, so I apologize for the crimes against grammar.

Very nice! The consistency in you letter forms and letter spacing looks very well done! thumbup.gif

What pen and ink did you use?

Very nice smile.gif Consistency is the mark of a master! One little thing, and I might be wrong (my eye for spacing is terrible) but you might consider looking at "hin" and see if you need to give the "i" a tad bit more space. But, as I said it is a small thing, and the writing is GORGEOUS.

I like your work here. I think it looks a bit smoother and more deft than the last example you posted in Uncial, so good job there. I did notice that on letters where you have two strokes meeting (like the right of the oval in "d") they aren't always exactly lined up, unless that's an artifact of the scan. That's about the only thing I could come up with as a "point to work on." I like your ornament lines on the majiscules.

I also like the saying/poem/whatever you like to call it. Though I would say that most English speakers are going to look at that "bow" and think it rhymes with "now" rather than "no."

This is very impressive, SquelchB.

I'm sure that your periodic postings in this style are very encouraging to those starting out, as they show the step-by-step development which is possible by study and practice.

I'm also impressed by the way that you take on board the occasional constructive comments made by others, and use them to your advantage.

Thanks for posting

Thank you very much.

I more of experiment with the size and layout, the letter styling is quite the same for several months.

I found that I need better paper and ink, though.
