I was given an exchange/replacement nib for my Visconti. I soaked the nib in water for about 20 min but no matter what, I can't seem to get the nib to screw down. Instead, the feed and the tines were all crooked (I was able to fix that) but it's very worrisome.

Any suggestions on how I can do this? I thought the Visconti nibs screw off rather easily??

Thanks
Huy
Visconti nibs do not screw out. You should stop trying to unscrew the nib out. I dont think you can change a visconti nib without the proper tools.

ORLY?

I guess then I totally botched things up by unscrewing my Van Gogh nib and screwing in another one. And yes, the base was threaded.

Granted, not all of them may be screw-out, but at least some of them are.

(sorry for the thread hi-jack!!)

I just can't help but make this comment: I've seen lolcats and various other geeky things on FPN, but I never would've expected to see an "ORLY" lticaptd.gif
