Full Version: In praise of music nibs

My (celluloid) Platinum with a music nib is converter-fed, but does not need re-filling frequently. Although the music nib writes what looks like a broad line (and an excellent one at that), it does not empty the converter unreasonably fast.

May I ask if others have a similar experience?

I have Sailor's, Pilot's and Platinum's Music nibbed pens and my wish is to turn all to ED as they empty their ink supply too fast. I like wet nibs and they are great-writing but don't hold up much ink.

Is this possible (turn these pens into ED)?

I know what you have (I think) but how about a small scan of the writing, if possible?
