Do you have any additional information about this pen?
David Nishimura - ( an asset to all collectors ) Has this pen on his site .
C. 1946
It's oragin is in question. Was it made under license in the immediate aftermath of the war, or do they represent a brazen and unauthorized appropriation of the Montblanc name ?
Plated nib is marked "C. J. R./IRIDIUM/FRANCE/16"
I would appreciate any help .
Thank you, MrsA

Does it say Montblanc anywhere on it? or does it just have the star (which doesn't look like any star I've seen on modern or vintage MBs).

Hello,
Yes, The barrel is marked Mont Blanc with the mountains between it.
Thank you for trying to help. MrsA

Hi,

These pictures remind me on some fakes of vintage Montblancs from East-Europe.
For those who can understand some German: http://www.fountainpen.de/news/Newsletter3-fakes.pdf
The imprint on the barrels doesn't mean anything as this "stamp" has been faked already. But even if the barrel is from Montblanc, this single part doesn't make the pen a Montblanc wink.gif
The star would never have left the Montblanc factory! This is an obviously faked star.
The clip is not made by Montblanc, neither the nib. And what about the feed?

Keep off your fingers!

Axel
