I wondered if any of you guys is trying to get this shiny fellow:
eBay item #330239307263
Lovely, in my opinion, but I'm still not a "hardcore" enough collector to buy something like this...
But in like... 3 months time? who knows?

I really like this kind of design.
PS.
I know that it seems it looks better than it performs (see this
topic), but it appeals to me nevertheless.

That is a beautiful pen.
If you liked this, I am sure you would like the Yard O Led pens too.
Have a look.

This is the kind of pen I can enjoy looking at, especially in person. But I do not like all metal pens. I would be very uncomfortable using this pen, or one like it. So I would never be a competitor in bidding for this pen.

Pretty, but probably darn heavy in the hand. Box candy, really.

Waaaayyyyy beyond my budget but nice looking pen. I am more the celluloid/resin pen type so I am in the same boat as FranB.

It makes the pens I've bought recently look like bargains! (Suddenly I feel better.

Didn't know this thread is about my pen... until I clicked on the link.
Glad you guys liked the pen. Thepen is actually NOT heavy since it is on the skinny side.

Oh man! I was following this auction, was tempted to bid... all the way down to 4 seconds left... I don't know how I restrained myself.
Oh right... I want to take that cross-country road trip later this year and I just bought the Visconti Metropolis... and apparently the Nakaya Piccolo I ordered two months ago just shipped...!
Still... I was so tempted. I was relieved when the auction was over.

Hi,
OK, I will go against the general flow here, I really don't like this type of pen (including YOLs for that matter), but a good thing we all like different things.
Never been mad keen on metal sections either (I will avoid where possible), so I would happily spend this sort of money on other pens and leave this type to those that I know will appreciate them.
No offence intended just how I feel about this type of pen.
