Hey Ryan,
It's tough without a picture (could you post one?), but a couple of things come to mind:
1) Triumph nibs are usually (perhaps not always, I'm not sure) threaded onto that plastic collar that also threads into the barrel. When removing the feed, it's normal to remove the nib first, then assemble in reverse order with a little sealant on the threads. With the feed out and the nib still attached to the collar, you should be able to remove the nib with heat and tools, and then fit the feed and replace the nib. This can be delicate. A bionic wrench or two helps for close work like this.
2) It
might be possible to put the feed back in the same way it came out, but it sounds like there's a potential for bending (well, snapping

) involved. If you heat the feed significantly (it's probably HR) before inserting it this way, you'll minimize the risk. Once it's in place, if it's distorted at all, heating again should cause it to remember it's old shape.
FWIW, the feeds in triumph-nibbed pens are designed to rotate fairly easily so that they can be aligned with the nib at whatever position it ends up at after assembling to the threaded collar. I'll bet they did this from the barrel end at the factory.
Please let us know how this works out... Best of luck!
Cheers,
Tom

All, I've got a very nice Triumph 1050 desk set that I'm trying to clean up. Here's my quandary.
I've got the nib/threaded collar out, and I've punched the feed out from the back. Now...how do I get the feed back into the nib/collar? Normally I'd just shove it in there, but the bottom of this feed isn't flat...it's got a little chunk (that's supposed to be there) hanging down. Ergo, it doesn't fit straight in there because of the oddball shape of the feed.
Help!
