Hi, I'm looking at getting a Montblanc FP. My current pen collection is 66% Parker 33% Sheaffer and I'm looking to add a little bit of veriety, and I'd like to see what the fuss is all about.

Anyway I'm a struggling, slightly out of work writer so my budget is rather tight. The two pens I've noticed are the 22 and Monte-Rosa.

Are these pens any good, what Montblancs would others recommend and what should I look out for, possible problem areas?

Oh and ideally the pen would be burgundy, like my current main pens, a Snorkel and a Duofold, but I've only ever seen black or metal MBs
