In the course of cleaning my Pelikan GO to change ink colors, I managed to drop it on the bathroom tile floor and bend the nib.....
I called Chartpak figuring it might cost me more than I paid for the pen to have the nib fixed....
I was told send it in there is no charge to replace the nib... biggrin.gif
I mentioned that it was GO and not a US sold pen and that I did the damage and it was not a fault of the pen.... NO PROBLEM we will fix it under warrantee... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

What more could any customer ask of a company.... it will be going out tomorrow....

The other good thing is... it was not my daughter's pen.... I would have never heard the end of that... sad.gif sad.gif

yup - they are wonderful folks to deal with. Very responsive. Quite the opposite of my other experience I ranted about in Chatter. Gee.. they only have one CS person there, too. And i suspect they get as many calls as the non-pen company i dealt with. I haven't had too many times I've needed them fortunately, but they respond quickly, and they ship back quickly.

Yes, they are really good, like Pelikan in Germany. smile.gif

Both places took just one week to repair my pens. Chartpak repaired my M200s and Pelikan repaired my Pelikano and Steno. (Yes, school pens, but they did it--without making any strange expressions! smile.gif)

More Kudos to Kendra Peschel and the repair team at Chartpak.
They got my Pel 400 brown tortoise back in the rotation. :bunny1:

Chartpak is the greatest.

I too dropped a pen on tile. I cracked the cap on my M250 from the 1980's. I sent it to Chartpak expecting to pay for repair or replacement. I got a call from them saying they could replace the entire cap or just replace the blind cap above the clip but the emblem would be silver and not gold like the original. I had an attachment to the cap because it said "W. GERMANY" on it. Much to my surprise they sent me a whole new (new style cap), my old cap with a new blind cap and the old broken blind cap. All this was for no charge, and they were timely in their service.
Good customer service is so important to me.
