I’m a Minnesotan and a retired art teacher. I love sketching with a fountain pen. Recently I purchased a Namiki Falcon and really enjoy using it. If you see someone in an airport or coffee shop sketching with a fountain pen in a moleskin sketch book it could be me.
I have also found myself starting to collect pens. My most recent purchase was an eye dropper filled pen made by the Moore Pen Co. It is enjoyable to use and I love the flexible nib. I also have a 1930 Parker Duofold, a Sheaffer (about 1960 vintage) I inherited from a friend, and a Parker 51. I enjoy both looking at and using them.
The forum looks like an opportunity to learn about fountain pens and hook up with some kindred spirits.
