I got the email and responded, of course! One of the cool things about the entry is a short questionnaire which asks you what your favorite filling system is. I'm thinking the response might influence CS into bringing out more non-c/c fillers. I answered "lever," but lever, button, piston... any of those would really be cool, no? And hey, I might win the Wellington too. I'm on a lucky streak. One of the California SuperLotto tickets I bought in March came in. Two dollars! Oh, how will I spend it how will I spend it...?

My entry is in and I voted for lever as a favourite filling mechanism as well. Picking favourites is so difficult, I was going to go for the ebonite Dandy, but in the end I went for the ebonite Duro.

Wow, I went for ebonite Duro too. Not that I have one, but that's the one I'd most like to have in my hand.

Well, I love mine to bits, it's always filled with PR Shoreline Gold and I wouldn't part with it

Since I got that pen my Duofold Centennial has seen hardly any use.

I entered. It would be nice to be the winner as my first FP was a Conway Stewart. Sadly, according to my mother, it was filched by the son of a solicitor, a fellow student at my school. I have once again come to look at CS FPs, but am struggling to know which would suit me best, size and weight-wise. Unless I am missing the obvious there doesn't seem to be much mention of dimensions around the net. At present I am lusting after the CS 100 and CS 100 icon pens, the latter being a bit of a wild dream to be honest!

Have a look on Richard's site for dimensions of the standard pens.

Prettiest is the Simpole. Thanks for letting the non CS users know about this. I fantasize about a broad italic!

As my dad recently gave me his vintage CS I decided to enter him in this competition. Wouldn't he just have a surprise if he suddenly became the owner of a new CS instead
