If a book about Sheaffer pen covering all there models from day one was writen what pen do you think should be on the cover of the book.
It should be a pen that represent a great meaning or importance to sheaffer pens.
So what this pen should be ?

I have few contenders

1.PFM V
2.Jade Flat Top Sr
3.Ebonized Pearl Oversize Balance
4.Mandarin Orange Snorkel

And for me as a Snorkel collector I'd choose the Mandarin Snork but when I think of it not as a Snork collector I'd say the Ebonized Pearl Oversize Balance should be on the cover because it is both beutiful and has a great important both to Sheaffer and the pen industry.

Dear Goodguy

It would have to be the Sheaffer PFM....that even gave the Parker 51 a run for it's money ( I think it's better than the 51 ).....for me...it's a classic Sheaffer, ideal for a book.

Radite Flat Tops and Balances. Between those two series of pens you cover decades of time, and innovations led in the large part by Sheaffer being able to market them to the public in numbers. At the same time you could set this against the backdrop of the fierce competition for market dominance during these years, and even more broadly the changing economic conditions of the 1920s and then the Depression and WWII.

How about that transparent demonstrator that was on ebay a few months ago?
