Hi all,

currently I am waiting for my J.P Morgan in mail. It should be here sometimes this week or next week. USPS has the worst tracking system ever made.

It does not have to be MB, just wondering if anyone has a pen or two coming in.

KBAM
A very nice pen, kaisede. Just don't deploy it in Times Square.

There, some once hoped for the MB 'Bear Stearns Edition' but alas, stakeholders have settled for the T-shirt.

Oh, waiting for a NOS "Made in USA" Parker 75 Cicelé--bought from a FPN member to give as a gift. It's alleged 11-12 million 75s were produced from 1963-1993. A wonderful icon of a simpler time...

Very nice kaisede. Those are very nice... Congrats! Could you share some pics when it arrives?

This is actually a big pen week for me... I basically spent two years of pen allowance... And the worst part! I'm not at home... I have been watching my packages via tracking... At least I know when I get home, I will have some goodies...

In transit-

MB Proust
MB Platinum Crystal Boheme
Ancora Jules Verne 20000 leagues
Waterman Patricia
Wahl/Eversharp Doric
Morrison gold overlay

Waiting for a nice 1944 striped Duofold from david i ....I was really after a nice pen from my birth year (1940), but settled for the D-Day landings...in which my half-brother was involved, and which I just remember being talked-about smile.gif
I have never even seen a striped Duo, 'in the celluloid'..so lots of eager anticipation!

(Of course I also have a few in Richard's queue....)

Just yesterday I ordered a MB Meisterstuck 146 and some ink, thought it would be nice to have it along with my 149 and some others as a set smile.gif It should arrive in my mailbox in the U.S shortly, but then I would have to wait for the courier to forward it to Amman, Jordan afterwards smile.gif I cant wait hehe

Congratulations on the J.P.Morgan.. You definitely have to share pictures with us once it arrives
Mandrake
Even worst...I received a 149 which was supposed to be bought for me by my wife...but had to handle it to her minutes after I received it until my birthday, next Tuesday.... wallbash.gif

But I think the waiting wil be worth....

Regards
Carlos
Pravda
That's actually amazing smile.gif nothing better than to know that you are going to be receiving your new 149 in a few days time.. specially that you know its there, not have to wait for it in the mail and worry if it'd get lost or something..

A really nice birthday coming up smile.gif HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I've bought a coupla Sheaffer Tuckies from FPN members recently that are on the way. TUCKIES!
NABodie
I've got a Pelikan 400nn OTW from a fellow FPNer. But trying to track it with the USPS tracking system would be a waste of my time. I ordered a Duke pen from China once and they said it was still there the day it was delivered.

I'm waiting for a 146 resin/platinum and a WE Fitzgerald...

wallbash.gif now...

The only thing I am worry about is the Morgan might disappoint pen, I have never seen the pen in person before. Only heard from other how beautiful the pen is.

I think its mother of pearl then hand painted (The last part I know to be true, but the MOP part... Just a guess on how it looks)

First I ordered an eyedropper bottle of Noodler's Heart of Darkness that came with a free preppy fountain pen - that was 'supposed' to be my first ink, and I was 'supposed' to wait a while before ordering more.

Then I found a hero 616 for an awesome price, and I actually found another chinese pen today that I just ordered! And I got two bottles of pelikan ink...

Like I said, it was 'supposed' to stop at the noodlers. I think I might have an addiction. Before I know it I'll two dozen pens, and ten dozen bottles of ink. Hmm the prospect isn't that bad, actually... except for my wallet xD
kaisede
That is how we all started, first few pens here and there and next thing you know you have a annual pen budget.

As I always says " the best way to stop an itch is to scratch it".

Congrad on your purchase, I have to say hero pens have been gaining some rep lately.

I am waiting for a few Parker 88 pens in various finishes and colours. AND I WILL WAIT SOME MORE, because Polish Post is on strike AGAIN sad.gif It's a state-owned company with employees still believing the old, socialistic slogans telling them that they deserve their wages no matter what happens and whether they do something or just sit there sipping coffee. Some say they are always on strike, because "priority" letter sent to a town just 5 km away can travel up to 2 weeks...
So, I wait.
