1. This one is extremely special. Platinum's PTB-20000P Red Very Presidential has the unique qualifications of time, care and patience the artisans blessed in creation of this pen. Before I've only seen this pen in pictures so to actually hold one in your hands and to us it; the pen is a symbol of honor!

All trim is machine etched 'PRESIDENTIAL' around the band on the cap. Gold trim on each end with a gold plated clip, it has a strong unbreakable resin body. It's more of a royal burgundy than I thought and very impressive. You'll like this; I'm certain of it.

2. The 18 carat gold fine point nib is one of the finest among all Japanese manufacturers. It's two tone gold and runs more of an Extra Fine. Semi-flexible, and flawless. I don't think there's been one for sale on FPN for quite some time.

3. I'd recommend removing the gold band from the converter since it can become stuck in the section. It will not affect performance.
