I just joined this network. I have always liked a fountain pen, even when I was in high school and used the esterbrook pens. I just recently started writing with a fountain pen again. I have been searching the web on the best pens, i could not beleive the number of counterfiet sellers for mont blanc pens. This is a very informative web site and plan to visit it often. In this day and age of the internet and computers, it nice to write with a fine quality pen and paper.

Welcome to the FPN! I know a former professor of mine, who purchased a counterfeit Mount Blanc pen in Bangkok around 10 years ago. He sent it in for repair and found out it was not a real MB. Needless to say, he was very upset after spending $800+ just four years earlier. 
Now he only buys pens from reputable places here in the USA.
