I usually write with an XF but I have recently been doing some work that I've been using some fat nibs for. I sometimes have this BB in my pocket when I want to write what would have normally been written with an XF. I find that I really like writing with the BB.

Now, this BB is only 1.5 times the width of the M on my Dolce Vita.


But -- the point -- This Pelikan can be flipped over and writes like an XF! I know that this is a customizable option with any nib, but I have never needed to do it because I either stick with the XF or grab a different pen. But to go from BB to XF is a wonderful thing.

I think that all of my nib customization will have this feature added from now on.
