This is Flatop Mikado with a soft fine nib. I purchased it recently from Winedoc and need to resell to get funds for a larger purchase

Here is what he said about the pen:
You will like it if:

If you like BIG pens (6.25" closed). It will eat your MB149 and Sailor KOP for lunch!
If you like pens that hold a lot of ink
If you think raw ebonite is beautiful
If you like to play around with traditional Japanese ED system (ie. you have patience)
If you like BIG nibs

I believe there is no plan to make anymore of them so this might be a last chance.

Pen comes with the box and papers.

Price is $305 by paypal/MO/check. I will send this by priority but insurance is by buyer.

thanks,

Kurt

attached is a Winedoc pic of the pen
I am not a number
If I hadn't just bought one I would be all over this!

Please tell me that you mean a more expensive purchase. If not, what on Earth do you want that is bigger?

I was just thinking the same thing myself. blink.gif

I had a Genkai ( that's the big brother of the Mikado) and have to say that it didn't get much play, don't know if it was the nib or just the pen shape. So it was sold.

I'm looking at Esties now with maybe a Corinthian in my future!

Know what? That line of reasoning makes sense to me. These pens are so large they are not for everyone. I admit I am blinded by my prejudice. I love these large pens. I am middle aged and I have issues with my good right hand. These pens are really good for me as they fit my hand and my disability. But, as I said, I know full well they are not for everyone.

Thanks for responding.

If you have one to sell then by all means sell it at $285 lticaptd.gif

I have one and I am trying to recoup the cost of shipping and Paypal fees. crybaby.gif

If you do not like my pricing structure then by all means do not buy mine.

Mine is sold, is yours? bunny01.gif bunny01.gif bunny01.gif

No problem. The reason I mentioned the nib on the Genkai was that it was a stub/italic ( can't remember which) so my writing style does not work well with large nibs.
