Full Version: New Pel 215 color
There is a new finish for the M215. It is black with silver rings. Supposedly shipping in February.
i'm not big on black pens but I'm glad to see Pelikan "branching" out with their 200-sized pens. Now... if they will just come up with some more colors. brown. brown. another brown.

Pelikan is doing a nice job, but I want to see more M300 series models, as the M200 is just a bit too big. (I can use it comfortably though) I have two of them though, a green translucent and a black (Dark dark red) model.

Nice colour. I was hoping to see a bit more variety on the M215, but I was hoping for a different shade of blue or possibly green or burgundy.
I just lost a Pelikan 215 on eBay as eBay pulled the auction for violating their rules! Now I'm quite glad they did...

Personally I would've liked to see a new model combining the M215 body with a gold (M250) nib at the same time as a few new colors. Maybe they are working on the colors and letting Richard handle the nibs!!!

If they came out with a burgundy with silver furniture, I would buy it in a heartbeat!
As an authorized Pelikan retailer, I gotta say I hate finding out about new Pels this way. I contacted my Pelikan service rep, and he says he's forbidden to give retailers this kind of info until Pelikan Germany has officially announced the pen -- which for this new M215 will be at Frankfurt later this month.

Fountain Pen Hospital has had this pen advertised for several days now. Maybe your Pelikan rep has made some sort of mistake? Or maybe FPH had an exclusive early sale on this pen??

That's one of the funny things about the internet. A single person somewhere finds out some leaked information about a new product (cell phone, music player, computer, fountain pen, etc.), and before you know it, it's all over the web.
