Hi, I bought a Versace pen from ebay which promptly fell apart before I even inked it. Here's a link to a photo of the pen-

I was cleaning it with a little distilled water before I inked it and notice the feed and nib were a bit misaligned so I tried to line the feed and nib only to have them fall out. I haven't been able to budge any of the other pens I have. Are these glued in place? There's a flat spot that wouldn't interfere with ink flow. What kind of glue if they are glued?

The nib is very thin, it's marked 18K., it's plated. There are several little logo type marks on the bottom corners, a sort of leaf or floral design on the left and inside a circle "sté, FYL" on the right. The only pen I own that I can see this part of the nib is the Pilot Vanishing Point, which has the sté, PP then the pentagon Namiki logo and a F. I tried to take a photo of the logos but they're too small for my camera or scanner. Anyone know anything about the marks?

The feed has 22 teeth/ladders with a channel in the middle and appears to be in good condition, no cracks or chips. The nib/feed housing is ok too, no cracks or chips. They just don't seat properly. I'm afraid of I just fit everything together and ink the pen I'll end up with a huge mess because the nib/feed will fall out.

I should have given the negative comment at Overstock more weight. I'm just glad the seller refunded me the price of the pen, but now I have something that doesn't work which bothers me.

I've written to Versace and no help. Anyone know who Versace sold their name to? I can't find an authorized repair center anywhere. I have the little warranty book, a lot of good that does. There's an address in Switzerland for Trade Mark Licensee, GVGioielli, SA. I see some newer Versace pens made by Omas, but there's no information about this model on line. The little tag that was attached to the clip says "CLF6099 BRD, No 1 FOUNTAIN PEN GENT BORDE, X WITH STEEL FINISHES". It came in a very fancy double box-both black.

Thanks for any help, information and suggestions, CathyW
