My buddy cracked his jade green Sheaffer Balance reissue a while ago. Anywhere to get a replacement ?

I had two green Jades that had cracking issues. This is pretty prevalent with the marble Balances, unlike the classic colours which are a softer, easier material.
I had one barrel crack and 2 cap cracks. At the time (about 3 years ago) I sent them to Sheaffer and they replaced them. Being in Canada I sent them to Sheaffer in Toronto and they sent them to Ft Madison. Took about 8-16 weeks as one had to go back a second time. However with the closure of Sheaffer I think all their repairs are done through a place called Hampton-Haddon?
I would Google them and find out. I don't really know if they would have spares but would assume so. The initial models apparently had thinner material than the later models. I only kept one and got rid of the other one. The one I kept has a newer barrel and cap which is thicker.
Hope this helps

Hi,
You could try Sheaffers, I had a cracked cap on a Millennium Balance, they couldn't replace as they had no parts so returned the pen with a Crimson Glow Balance as a replacement, impression I got was that they had few replacement parts left.
