Just arrived from an Ebay seller.... what Jonathan calls a 'red veined gray jazz'. He had only ever seen his own in this colour but now there's mine as well.
You can tell I'm a pretty happy bunny

Congratulations, jhmclearly, a very nice pen, rare to boot.
There is something about pens unnadorned with gold rings and other trimmings that I like, there is especially something about pens in those colours regardless of trim that I like!
Do you think you will be cleaning/replating etc or will be keeping the patina?

JHMCLEARLY,
Congratulations on the pen! The CS colors are always so vibrant. It really helps that people like you post pictures -- I could not even imagine visualizing this pen based on a description.

A pictures worth a thousand words..... someone said that once but I don't know who.
In answer to Greg the pen will go off to my restorer for a clean and polish but the patina on the metal parts will remain as is. I think personally it's better that way.
Regards to all
John

Now we've seen the 'before' pictures I'm sure I wont be the only one wanting to see the 'after' pics!
