Hi, I bought this nice looking little waterman safety pen, maybe 0542 1/2 baby. It was stuck. I managed to open up and found that the spiral is broken. Can it be repaired? Can spiral be glued back together? See the attached picture. thanks.

Should I start looking for a replacement spiral for this pen? Is it easy to find?

An adequately strong repair would be difficult to manage. Best bet would be to scrounge a replacement helix, since crapped-out donor pens are fairly easy to come by.
