I've seen a picture of what is supposed to be a M1000 but it has a silver clip and cap band. It looks more like a M805 to me but i'm wondering if Pelikan make a M1000 with this finish?
Can anyone clarify this?

I can probably muddly the waters in that there are LE versions of the M1000 that I think had silver metal instead of the gold.
