I am wondering if anyone knows how I might try to remove Higgins Eternal Ink. Today in calligraphy class my pen landed in my lap and I have a nice black spot. This is the first time --- usually the pen lands on the floor, easy to clean up. Thanks for your help if there is any.

Amodex is a very good ink-removing product. Usually tis made for regular fountain pen inks, I wonder if it will work with Higgins ink. You might want to post this question in the Ink sub-forum - the ink experts hang out over there.

Hi and welcome.
I don't know anything about your ink. Likely a very special non-removable type etc?
In any case first try out any ink remover and/or "clean-it-all" product and then use an ordinary bleach and finally try out a weak or concentrated solution of hydrogen peroxide.
Lots o' luck!

Anna- also, if you are in the US, try a product called OxyClean. However,if you are not in the USA, I wonder if that product is available in your country.
