I know I told myself I wouldn't get another Parker 17 after reviewing my blue one (see http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/in...showtopic=47238 ). However when I saw this little burgundy one, exactly as I had when I was a child, I couldn't resist it.
The Parker 17 Lady is similar in every respect to the Parker 17, only smaller. It is, to be frank, tiny. It is barely longer than my middle finger, and only just over half the diameter of my little finger. It is a scale model of the full size pen in every way except the nib width - which is normal.
The pen sizes are:-

Uncapped 107mm (4.2")

Max Diameter 9.5mm (3/8")
Pocket Clip Length 37mm (1.45")
The pen is lightweight, small and quite endearing. The nib on this example is a nice, wet, medium. The width of the lines are quite surprising given the small size of the pen. There is a surprising amount of flex from the hooded nib, allowing a certain degree of expression while writing.
All in all, if you want a good, small pen, a Parker 17 Lady is an excellent choice. It is suitable for child size hands, though I know from my own experience that they are not childproof (what pen is?).
