I literally just purchased a Sailor Professional Gear, black with gold trim and a fine nib. What should I expect? Does anyone else have this pen? If so what do you think about it?

I don't own one, but it's on my list.

I don't have the full size Pro Gear but have three Pro Gear Slims (2 minis, 1 standard) and the are superb writing instruments.

I have one I got from John, with a Sabi-Togi nib. It's terrific - very smooth and dependable. And John is great to do business with (also smooth and dependable!) Good luck with your new pen!

I have one, with a M nib. The nib is really amazing, wet flow as I like and works very well with Sailor ink. And the pen itself is nothing but quality, well made and well shaped for my hand. You'll like it thumbup.gif

I've got three of them, each with a different nib - a fine, a medium fine and a music. Each perform flawlessly and I am certain you will be pleased wih yours.
