According to
Richard Binder, the M4xx and M2xx are the same size. The M200 and M215 have gold-plated nibs, but the M250 has 14K gold nib. And if I read Richard's site correctly the Pelikan M2xx, M4xx, or M6xx pen (including M620 City Series, M700 Toledo, and “1931” and “1935” limited editions) use the same size nibs.
edited to add link I think his point is that they
can all use the M200 nibs that he customizes. The nib sizes that the different pens come with as stock are different, but the threads match, allowing all 2xx, 4xx, and 6xx pens to use a 200 nib. I don't think you could fit a 600 nib inside the cap of a 200.
The 800 nib has different threads (or something), which means that an 800 can't use a 200 nib as the others can. And I assume the 300 is different as well, being so small.
