The thing is so narrow at the top that it is very hard to clean and I can't lubricate it (it's very stiff) because it's such a narrow opening.

I did do a search but saw no topics that seemed to speak to this and couldn't read every post in the forum to look for a possible reference to this issue. Do folks just put up with this or do you end up going to cartridges?

Are Cross cartridges international standard or proprietary? I already fill carts for my Sailor Minis so filling for my Cross wouldn't bother me at all.

Hi,

Cross cartridges can fit Parker, Aurora, ands Lamy, but not the other way around. To lubricate the converter, unscrew the ferrule on the top. (It's actually a custom Schmidt converter)

Thanks, Dillon. I'll give that a shot.

I just put up with the stiff converters.
