So there has been a lot of talk about Baystate Blue lately. I looked at a lot of the reviews and the color is amazing. Is there another ink with a very similar color that has less problems? (o and without any purple in it?)

I find Diamine Royal Blue close , also Visconti Blue lives on the same block.

Private Reserve Lake Placid Blue, Diamine Royal Blue--very nice saturated blues. But I think you'll find that there's no blue fp ink on the market that's as bright as Baystate Blue.

How about Diamine Saphire Blue?

DSB has the closest hue I know of to Baystate Blue, but the OP said he didn't want any purple content.

Im just not a big fan of blue with a little purple in it. I tried Aurora blue and really didnt like it because of the purple in it.

I feel the same way about Aurora Blue, but I found DSB to be less purple. I'd advise ordering an ink sampler (little samples of 4 different inks in small vials) from James at Peartree Pens, including Private Reserve Lake Placid Blue (or Visconti Blue, which is pretty close), Diamine Sapphire Blue and Diamine Royal Blue. You may find the ink you're looking for. Right now I mix 3 parts DSB with one part Namiki Blue (which is waterproof). The result is closer to true blue than DSB. You could also mix DSB with DRB, for example, in various ratios to find the shade you like best. Waterman Florida Blue is also nice. Private Reserve Naples Blue is a vivid turquoise. I use all these great inks at various times.
