I've three small packages to mail out tomorrow, one to the UK, one to CT USA, and the third - ITJ 02 - will be heading to Spain for its first stop on its maiden voyage.

Oops! Delayed 1 day and will go out tomorrow, Tuesday, 5/20/2008. I had to rescue it from my mailing bag and perform a slight operation to add one last participant! If anyone on this journal has any questions, let me know!

Of to Roger this morning, with a small CD-RW that the rest of you can use to add your own stuff -pictures, music, scans, etc-.
Kiavonne, is there room to add another member? A German FPN member.

Oh, you don't have to add anything. I just included a slide show with pics of the places we took the journal to. Hoping it will distract you from the sloppy handwriting and syntax.

This one, ITJ 02, is pretty full with 6 members. I have someone interested in a 3rd, I can add one on. If all the 6 current folks would like to add another to this one, I've no issue with it, but we'd likely need to graduate to a larger journal to give everyone space and opportunity to say hi and make a couple rounds. I'm happy to do that when we set a new journal out if that's what folks would like.

You're most welcome to join. I will contact a few others that expressed an interest in a third journal. Will be happy to get it going just as soon as I know everyone is still willing and ready to participate.
I'll probably stop sponsoring new journals after this one, as it will make three that I will have originated, and I really want to make sure these all go ok.

I'm getting a little nervous, though. Mail hasn't come yet today, but I'm going to start wondering if it doesn't show up today. It was mailed from California to Colorado a week ago today. It normally takes things a whole 2-3 days to get to me from California. A week is a bit long. We'll see.

Round two about to begin. It's only half full!

You don't really think I'd let you off the hook, do you? The journal(s) will circulate until you guys say STOP! When there isn't room for another entry, the next person on the list will start the next blank book.

I'm very tempted to add a surprise here and there as we go along.
Seriously, it doesn't stop until you are tired of it. People may come and may go, but for a circle of friends, it's there for all of us.
edit: oh, and don't forget, when this one is filled, not only will I send scans to everyone, but remember I'll be raffling off the original to one of you! So, you have to keep going and filling journals so everyone gets a treasure!

There is a method to my madness. You cannot escape new friends. Life's greatest treasure, next to those we love.

I was just joking, I didn't write anything inflamatory as I recall. I am looking forward to the second go around. I'm going to write my thoughts about manufacturing in the United States, and what I'm doing about it. I'm going to write about Domaflitchy.

No, on both counts.

There are 3 separate journals out there that I originated: ITJ 01, ITJ 02, and ITJ 03, all separate groups. ITJ 02 is the one this group is working on, still version .1. It should fill on this next round.
ITJ 01 and ITJ 03 have yet to finish their maiden rounds.

Heh, I can never remember what I've written or what I've used. I have to wait for the journals to swing by me again, just like everyone else. Once this one is filled (or near to it), I'll scan it so we can all remember. The hard part will be getting it down to a nice, easily read size. My little scanner works well enough, but it isn't top line.

Well, those of us with scanners could perhaps scan everything up to where they last read/wrote-in it, and you could send us the missing bits...would that help?
Probably not...just a seed of a thought which might germinate into something practical!
