I just wanted to share the photograph of one of the fountain pens I bought about 4 Years ago. Its a Prasad Medium Size Ebonite ED. I haven't seen anybody mentioning about this brand of fountain pens on FPN before. As far as I know, these pens a manufactured (Handmade actually) in a place called Chittoor, Andhrapradesh, India. But that's all I know about it and I may be wrong.

In the 4 Years I have used this pen extensively and never faced much of a problem... Except that it sometimes starts leaking after a few months of use.... But, that could be due to many reasons.

The pen writes quite well and is absolutely dependable. I bought it fro Rs 60 from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India ( quite a steal actually...)

If anybody can throe in some more light on this pan brand, please share the knowledge....

Thanks

I've seen a couple of these for sale on Pentrace and in the Marketplace. Quite a beautiful pen, even though I've never owned one. I'm glad to hear it works well - I might have to snatch one up next time I see it.

It's good to see more Asian brands outside of Japan being represented. I think there are some good pens out there that aren't getting their due.

Best,
Summer Greer
