I've just registered and am extremely happy that I have because I had long been wondering if I were the last person on the planet who still uses fountain pens, and I'm glad it turned out to be false.
Ever since I was I child I adored the way the nib smoothly glides over paper. In elementary school, we had to write with fountain pens, and learned to write with them, so most of my colleagues developed a strong dislike for fountain pens. Not me.
One way or the other, fountain pens have always followed me through life and education, but up until a couple of months ago I never paid any attention to the brand or quality, which was a mistake. I realized that most of my pens were good only for a short period of time, and have therefore decided to purchase something of a higher quality, and that's how I fell in love with Parker pens. One day, I would like to own The Meisterstück 149 fountain pen, but this is going to have to wait for a while. At this point I'm enjoying using a Vector.
Anyhow, I'm really glad to be a member of this network.
