Anything similar in price with better paper? (in between the price range of Ampad and Rhodia)

What I have noticed about Black and Red is that the paper is not the same from format to format. This is unlike Ampad which has the same paper in every format so there is not surprise. I find the Ampad works perfectly for me still I recognize that it is not the best paper but it is quality at a very cheap price. I buy mine at Walmart. Black and Red is available at Rite Aid stores but still not cheap.

In my opinion, Cambridge Writing Pads are just as good (maybe even slightly better) as Ampad.

Would that be the standard or the premium?

The Cambridge pads I currently use are not the premium ones. They simply say "Heavyweight bond paper."

Thanks,
The premium pads are quite a bit more expensive than the GF like twice as much is why I havent tried them. Oh and the other reason is that I cant get them in my town. I would have to order and that increased the cost more. Just ino for those of you out there in the community. I find the GF does the job for me, close enough. Still if anyone wants to send me a page to try I would like to try it out. If it is that much better I would have to think about the extra expense. As it is I use paper like water. The regular stuff on the shelf just wont do though.

I like Gold Fiber, minus the way the lines are flipped on the back.

What do you mean flipped?

The lines are flipped on the short side compared to the long side.

I dont see any problems with the back side of either format that I have now. So I guess I dont get it.
