Thanks again for all of your hard work!
Here's hoping for a speedy and uneventful trip to the Great White North (oops, I forgot to ask if it was Polar Ink?? Just kidding!) without CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) sticking their nose in the package!

A case is 144 bottles and it's a case and a half. I estimated how much we would need based on how many orders there were when Noodler's was ready to make the ink. I'm afraid I estimated wrong and we'll have to order more before long. The question will be whether or not to order 1/2 case or a whole one.

It turned out fantastic! I would photograph and post it, but I'm a bit overwhelmed with shipping. A number of bottles shipped today, so perhaps someone else could do it when it arrives?

That is so exciting. I cannot even imagine having to box up, label, do all the inventory records, and mail that many. Many thanks for the incredible and extra amount of work that everyone put in for all these FPN custom inks. Everytime I use one of them, I say "Thank You."

Yesterday I ordered the Dumas Tuplipe Noire after being hooked by the colour from the review. Now that I know how much work it took to get the ink to me i.e. labelling, shipping, administrating ...etc... I would like to send a heartfelt thanks to everyone involved. Your labour of love is truly appreciated. Aother donation to FPN is on its way...

Hello Elaine,
I am a new member and probably missed some information on this new Van Gogh starry nights blue Noodler's ink for FPN members. I read it is "standard ink" rather than bulletproof; does that mean it is waterproof?
Thanks

It will just be a regular ink, but in a color exclusive to FPN. It won't be waterproof or bulletproof. It will be an ink like Noodler's regular (standard) inks. This is my understanding, anyway.

The ink has some water resistance, but is not waterproof.

I received my order today safe and sound. Ditto on the great packing - thanks Elaine. The ink is wonderful - it has a nice vintage look to it - think 1940's Quink Blue Black with a bolder tone. So far, so good; except for the blue tip of one finger - I'm not sure how that happened, but there it is. And the ink has some pretty decent bullet proof tendencies, on skin anyway!

Kelly G reports, "the ink has some pretty decent bullet proof tendencies, on skin anyway!"
This is an unadvertised bonus: spill ink on yourself and you become BULLETPROOF!
Think how much this would save if the police would just spread ink on themselves before entering a tense situation!!!!! Buy FPN Starry Night Blue and you become like Superman!
If it were only true .........................
Again, thanks to Elaine & others for doing such a good job on this excellent project. The ink is great!

I now have in hand in my pens all three new (to me) FPN inks. Elaine and the other moderators: you're efforts on behalf of our community is awesome and much appreciated. It's fun to have new inks to play with, the Van Gogh Starry Night Blue is my favorite of the three, and I love the bulletproof qualities of the other two (IIRC). Great packaging, great service. Winners all the way around. Thank you.

Elaine, again my appreciation for the excellent packing job you did. All 3 Van Gogh bottles arrived today! This is a very rich, dark blue....that in thick applications appears almost black, but wisps of a unique dark blue in lighter flow areas gives a notable contrast. Very distinctive ink. Love it and the label!

Elaine -
Two bottles of Starry Night arrived safely today in Florida. Its everything I thought/hoped it would be. It will be my everyday ink here at the office now...replacing Ellis Island.
I can't thank you and all the rest of those involved for producing a truly special ink.
Best,

I am still waiting for my ink but the delay is no fault of anyone from the FPN. According to the tracking information, it was shipped on May 23 and landed in Canada on May 26. That's when the delay started - CRA - the Canada Revenue Agency - has had their grubby hands on this shipment until 10 PM last night (June 2). I wish someone would explain why in the world it takes them over a week to process a box of ink.

It's not like I ordered enough that it looks like a case of beer. Could there be a fountain pen fanatic inside their walls and that person has decided to test the ink?

In this same time period, I have received a number of pens from the UK, Oscar Braun, paper and ink from Pendemonium.
I am looking forward to receiving it, likely tomorrow. What I am worried about is the customs and duties charges that some CRA clown has dreamed up to justify spending a whole week processing one itty bitty package!

Received my lone bottle yesterday and used two converters of the stuff already. I've never used a Noodler's blue (except for Ottoman Azure) and really love this! It seems to feather and bleed like crazy on legal pads but plays nice with Rhodia.
Great job on this. I'm thrilled with the color. It's definitely an everyday ink from now on...

As expected, the ink did arrive today and my good friends at the CRA exacted their pound of flesh in the form of federal and provincial sales taxes plus a processing fee. Just in time to load it up in my new Sailor KOP Pro Gear with a Togi nib!!

Today I have received my FPN inks!!
This is the list of my order:
2x3 oz. bottle FPN Galileo Manuscript Brown Ink
1x3 oz. bottle FPN Dumas Tulipe Noire
1x3 oz. bottle FPN Van Gogh Starry Night Blue
Shipping via Express Mail International
I considered that of Blue and purple there are a lot of kind from other brands and are quite easy to do by myself mixing inks. Instead Brown bulletproof inks are very difficult to find and produce. Moreover, I love brown inks on an ivory paper... it seems an ancient ink...
I calculated all the cost before to order, and I considered also the import fees, which were exactly as I had supposed. I had payed EUR 60.98 by paypal to FPN admins because of the change to USD was quite positive ($91.97), and today I have payed other EUR 18.11 to the courier for the import fees. So I have payed in total EUR 79.09 for 12 oz. (360ml) of ink that means EUR 6.59 for 1 oz. (30ml), which is less than the average high quality branded ink in Italy. Infact I payed 1 oz. of Mont Blank Bourdeaux around EUR 14.00 and for a 1 oz. of Sheaffer Skript Blue around EUR 10.00.
Thank you to all the admin staff!
I will test the inks next week because I'm too busy until thursday.
Regards,
KenF

I almost purchased one in Dallas this week but went with the Montegrappa Esprssione and the Omas Emotica. Both are awesome pens, but the Omas with the titanium nib is incredible.
