I took these pics really quick yesterday. I only had one fountain pen on hand and it was one I turned for myself. I sold out for the Christmas season. The blue pen is a rollerball, but I can make them in fountain pens also. It is an acrylic with Rhodium and 22k gold fittings.

Splendid examples Coach!!! I certainly think you have the touch! Beautiful pens. I can see why they sold out!!

The blue one is especially pretty. Nice work there!

Wow, class laugh.gif
Personally I prefer the first one. Are these handcrafted?
coach
Yes hand crafted. It started out as a curious hobby and has turned into a passion and a business that pays for the hobby. I use wood, deer antler, and acrylic resins. If you want to know more, email me.

I am now into collecting fountain pens. In fact, just bought a Parker 45 off of ebay a couple of hours ago!

Very nice. The resin used in the blue one reminds me of some pens I've seen coming out of Italy. Nice work.

Travis and I are good friends and if I did not tease him he would think I was mad at him... he is a great penturner and a pretty good football coach also... just ask him he will tell you..

gorgeous pens, coach. what i wanna see is a drag down, dirty dueling pen-turners competition - that would be fun! smile.gif

Fantastic!! I love the shade of blue!! Does this come in a fountain pen, rather than a ballpoint?
coach
Yes I can do it in a fountain pen.

Ok. So you make the wood and resin parts. I get that, but is there a specific brand of "guts" that you use to make the inside with? Are there different types that can go inside?

Griz. I believe you also turn pens as well. Is this the same for you as well?

Charlie,
Travis, Larry (Penturner) and I all use the same hardware from the same suppliers... we insist on using on the finest hardware we can get in the best platings... most of the pens are either Platinum, Sterling Silver, Black Titanium or TN Gold (Gold with a touch of titanium so it does not brass) plated. We can also offer a less expensive Chrome plating that is extremely durable and looks very nice.
We also make different size pens from a nice medium that is about 5" closed and about .5" diameter to a 2 larger sizes....
The same basic interior parts are used to make either a fountain pen or rollerball pen.. the difference obviously is the section. We can also offer good Bock Iridium nibs or Bock 14K Gold nibs...
