Full Version: Drilling/Practice Ideas needed

After the success of "The Egyptian Astrophysisist", I was hoping y'all could come up with some ideas concerning these particular letter combinations. I'm working on the "join" that goes between
a d i k l m n u h
on the left and
m n r x
on the right. Not all such combinations exist in English, but that's OK. It includes common words like "in" and "and". I want to practice something that has greatly enhanced occurrences of these, without simply being a random list of words.

I'm laughing at myself. I saw the subject line, saw "drilling," the string of letters, and though "Ah! Looking for a letter drill index," which is a range of size of drill bits for drilling holes. One track mind (repairs)..... embarrassed_smile.gif

I'm not looking for pre-printed copy sheets where I have to supply the words to have printed! I'm looking for the sentences and practice material itself.

I've determined that the English word with the most such combinations (5) is antiparliamentarian. Can anyone find one I overlooked?

"unknowingly administering dramamine and antiinflammatory admixtures ..." I can't think of any verbs. Come on, was the Egyptian astrophysicist thread just a fluke?

--John

Update: Administering dramamine and antiinflammatory admixtures unknowingly decontaminates aquamarine eardrums, eliminating drunkenness.

I guess that may be the only solution available other than a surgery with only a 20% success rate...

Methinks you should add this somehow to the Difficult Words thread to keep those scientists alert and on their toes.
