I've been a user of FP since about 6th grade - I took some sort of calligraphy elective and discovered the joys of FPs then. I still do calligraphy and have never stopped using FPs, though I go in an out on using them for everyday writing.

Let's see, I have several midrange and cheap pens - I have a Levenger TrueWriter demonstrater, a Rotring 600 (and a Rotring ArtPen set for italic work, but I actually prefer cheap dip pens for that!), a Waterman Phileas, a Tombow Object (LOVE this pen, for some reason!), and I just got a Namiki/Pilot VP and a Pilot Knight, and have a Prera on the way to me. And I also have 2 Lamy Studio rollerballs, which I like for non-FP work.

Now stop tempting me to spend money on MORE pens that I don't need! smile.gif

Greetings and welcome to FPN. Have you seen the Yard-0-Leds or the Japanese maki-e pens? smile.gif

Well, if you read on here enough, it won't only be me but most others too (I think) who will end up tempting you to spend more money on MORE pens. And that will be pens that you will need! wink.gif

Welcome to the board. If you've been using FP's since the 6th grade you're ready to roll (I mean write).
