I don't have any particular brand focus to my collection -- a little of this, a little of that. But I've always had a jones for the Esterbrook CH purse pens. Not too terribly long ago, I landed a very nice Pink one (pre-1957), but pink ain't my color, and while I was happy to have such a good CH I wanted a different color. After giving up on getting an Orchid out of Frank Tedesco, I finally stumbled upon a For Sale posting right here on FPN for a Tempo Red. After beating the seller severely about the head and shoulders with a piece of wet ziti, I managed to acquire ownership of said pen, and it arrived in Nashua yesterday.

I don't think it's ever been used; all I did was swap out its 9668 nib in exchange for the 9128 that was in the Pink. I'll be selling the Pink soon, but for now I'm busy gloating over my Tempo Red.
