Are all MBs with "dark stars" on the box/paperwork fake? For example, the paperwork with this pen has a dark star. Is it most likely fake? The seller claims that it shines red under a light, like a real pen. I was under the impression that the "red under a light" test was pretty reliable.

This auction is already over, I just noticed this guy has sold 6 MBs and has one more up for sale, with no other feedback.

Dark star on dark packaging is O.K. Dark star on white packaging is not.

Having said that, the white star on this top of this box doesn't look right - too small relative to the circle. Secondly, I haven't seen that type of textured patten on a box.

Looking at the pen, I would say that it is definitely fake. The font on 'Germany' and on the serial number is incorrect.

...Oh yes, I've just noticed - the serial number looks like EN1340225 [see earlier posting on this forum]

It looks real to me, you can see the PIX simple under the clip.

Pix under the clip does not mean anything anymore, i bought a fake last month with the Pix under the clip
