An unassailable choice. Bear in mind, though, that the White Dot also appeared mid-barrel and at the bottom of the blind cap...which seems to suggest other possibilities.

Maybe the PFM inlaid nib design. Nice and simple. And likely to be recognized by anyone with an Imperial, PFM, Targa, or Legacy.
Might be even cooler if it was tattooed on my index finger...

No tattoo for me, ever. Not even a Sheaffer tattoo. A dot or a PFM nib makes no impression but to the insiders. So, IF I really must, I would think of the art deco image of the big, flowerish S you see in the old add's with a couple of nice balances
