I got a "Preppy" highlighter with a bottle of Year of the Golden Pig. I rather like it, and was thinking of using more FPs for highlighting. But where can I get more of the converted preppy's? Or is there something else worth trying?

There is actually a really great thread on this topic including websites for purchasing preppys and even a Richard "Binderized" highlighter that is awesome. I don't have time to hunt up the link but if you run a search for "highlighter" and "Preppy" you'll find it in a flash. I've been looking into this myself recently and that thread give you a lot of great info...

You can get platinum preppy highlighter from pendemonium, either a cartridge/converter or converted eyedropper model(No affiliation smile.gif ) Depending on how wide you like the line to be, you could try some cheap italic nibs/pens. I believe the Binderised nib would be the one ordered by omasfan, and can be seen here.

I'm afraid I'm beginning to sound like a broken record on the subject, but I like Dragon's Napalm for highlighting, even though it isn't sold a highlighting ink.

I second pendemonium.com. They have a good deal on Platinum Preppy fountain pens and highlighters. And, they'll even convert them to eye-droppers for you for a nominal fee. (No affiliation, just a satisfied customer)

Happy penning.

I have considered getting some of this, just because my mom always used to use Merthiolate and Mercurochrome on my scrapes as a kid. I hated that stuff, but I will never forget it. smile.gif

I got mine from Swisher's. I had ordered the big bottles of YotGP and Polar Blue. But, the highlighter I'm actually using is a standard Preppy highlighter with a convertor. I was too afraid to use the eyedropper at first, but the one that came with the Polar Blue seems to work well enough.
