Hey Everybody,
Tim, here, from Jonesboro. I am excited about fountain pens. Looking forward to learning a lot. Totally a noob. I have a quick question, though, who are the best retailers?
Thanks
Tim

Hey Tim. Shreveport here. Welcome to the board. If you're talking about brick&mortar stores, I would guess the closest ones to you would be Memphis or Louisville? As far as online, there are many reputable ones that most any FPN member could recommend. The ones I've had success with are Pendemonium, Swisher Pens, and Richard Binder. All 3 have treated me very well, and I have no affiliation with any of them.

Welcome to FPN, Tim.
I'm also pretty new, and also from Arkansas. I know Little Rock is a good ways from Jonesboro, but my favorite store in the state is Vanness in Little Rock (11121 N Rodney Parham Rd # 32B). Very nice, knowledgeable and helpful people, and an interesting selection. (I don't have any connection-just a happy customer).
Good luck,
Jon

Hi Tim, I am also new to this forum but are looking forward to making new friends here. What kind of retailers are you looking for? Someone that sells fountain pens or fountain pen equipment and does it matter where the retailer is located? Let me know and I send you more info, you can also look at my site where we list fountain pens of all major fountain pen producers.

Welcome to the boards! I have been to Jonesboro many times - went to high school in Gosnell.
My (completed) online buying has been through eBay. Hopefully next week I will be able to tell you something cool about
Richard's Pens, though.

Welcome to FPN and hello from over in Russellville, Ar. I second the opinion that Vaness Pen store is a great place to shop. Got last years Christmas present from there (Pelikan Grand Place). I wonder what kind of pen shops are in Memphis? Haven't be that way since I got into Fountain Pens. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the Arkansas Pen Club meetings and Pen shows in Little Rock!

Thanks to all for the warm welcome. I assumed there would only be a handful of fountain pens in the whole state.

Glad to see we are so well represented.

Welcome to FPN, timopp. I'm from Little Rock and was also surprised to see the number of FPN members from Arkansas.

Hi Tim, Mike here. Sorry I can't tell you who your retailers are. Mine are at a different location. You'll find enough and/or as for me too many.

Hi Tim and welcome to FPN. If you want to find retailers for fountain pens, just google the name of the pen and the retailers will usually pop up on the page.
