Given that sites come and go, I'm afraid of losing this site. It's an invaluable resource for Targa people... If I just hit the print button it will
use a TON of ink with all that black part... Is there an alternative?

thanks

In most browsers, there is an option to not print background images or colors. The one I know off the top of my head is for Firefox 2.0.
Select File > Page Setup
On the "Format & Options" tab, deselect 'Print background (colors & images)

In IE, I think it is in the "Advanced Options" panel.

Skyp,

I often print pages like you describe using the Microsoft Document Image printer that is selectable from your Printer selection box when you go to print. It makes an .mdi file that you can always read later and keep for reference without using paper and ink. Of course, at any time you can still pull up the mdi file and print it out. I like the look of the original pages without having to sacrifice my ink budget for the next 6 months.

Just a thought.

Best regards,

Jerry

Skyppere,

I believe what you are looking for is a web crawler that will download the entire website onto your harddrive. I have used WebSPHINX but not recently. It's an open source application that can be obtained from: http://sourceforge.net/projects/websphinx/

May I suggest to book-mark this page or/and add it to your favorites..Cheers

Thanks for all these good ideas. I've had things bookmarked and after a period of time found "Page unavailable" so these will be ways for me
to have them in my hot littlehands.
