I recently acquired a Sheaffer Gift set ball pen. And while I love the pen, and would like to move it into my regular rotation, I cannot stand regular ball pen ink. Most of my other ball pens take Parker refills, and I use the Parker Gel refills and am very happy with the results, but unfortunately they don't fit in the Sheaffer. Does anybody know of a company/website/store where I can find a gel ink replacement for this pen?

Just for posterity, I thought I'd post the solution to the problem that I had posted about. On Parker refills there is a plastic end cap that can be shaved down to make it fit in a Sheaffer pen. About 1/4" needs to be taken off, and trial and error will tell you when you've taken enough off. I used a combination of a serrated blade and fine tuning with a file and it works like a charm. Now I can use this beautiful pen, and refill it with the ubiquitous and cheap Parker Gel refills.

So why doesn't Sheaffer offer a gel refill? The refills offered right now are a bit scant.
