Hi all,
I just notice a tiny bump on my Waterman 12 black hard rubber body. It is not serious and pretty difficult to feel it. But you can see it in the reflection of light.
what does this bump mean? Will it get worse? Any possible solution to remove this bump?

Regards, Kl
Richard
We'd need a photograph to make any judgment about it.

Here it is. I hope you can see it.

It may be warped slightly due to heat or age. I wouldn't worry about it, but don't try and do anything to it, it may make it worse. Personally, I'd leave it alone.

I suspect that's the outline of the ring that the lever is suspended from-- I've got a couple of plastic pens with a similar apparition, which in their case is the result of the plastic shrinking. I don't KNOW that's the same effect happening here, but it sure does seem similar.

edit... except, of course, there isn't a lever to have a ring in a 12, is there? Ah, the attention to detail I exercise! It's almost imperceptible!
